This is the first time for me to making a standing big figurine. I never saw this figure before. Who is Vanellope Von Schweetz, i didn’t know. Until one of my customer asked me to make a birthday cake, with this cute figure, standing pose! A little bit hesitation, i accepted the request. Alhamdulillah, Books really help me to stand out this figure on my cake (i got the amazing books from Fondant Baking Tools , thanks Mba Dee )
For the bigger head, i use a dummy ball covered with fondant. And make the shape with the palm of my hand. And i painted the eyes with a small paintbrush. I made it two days before i put it on the top of the cake, so it makes me sure that it dry enough to stand steadily.
And thank God, the customer pick it up by herself.
